Nifty Gateway's Resurgence: Record-Breaking NFT Drops Spark Speculation of a Comeback

Nifty Gateway, a popular NFT marketplace, appears to be making a comeback with recent drops of highly sought-after collections.

Yesterday, artist Grant Riven Yun released the second part of his "Life in Japan" collection, titled "The Road Ahead," on Nifty Gateway. The collection sold out in record time with all 1299 pieces priced at $250, generating a staggering $250K in volume on Nifty Gateway between mint prices and the secondary market. In addition, 67 eth of volume was traded on Opensea, all in less than 24 hours.

And tonight, the excitement continues as XCOPY, a well-known artist in the NFT art community, collaborates with drawin artist IWAN to launch a 500-piece collection on Nifty Gateway. This drop is expected to follow in the footsteps of the previous night's success, taking place on the same platform.

The recent drops on Nifty Gateway have reignited interest and speculation about the platform's potential resurgence. The marketplace's golden days, when famous artists regularly launched their works, are being remembered by many in the NFT community. However, there is some concern about the possibility of too much hype and speculation leading to Nifty Gateway's previous collapse two years ago.
